14 owned workflows, one shared brain

The construction brain that never misses a deadline.

Walter is the AI agent platform for general contractors. It runs your RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay apps from one permission-filtered brain — citing the current set on every answer, and keeping a human in the loop until trust is earned.

The cost of forgetting

The expensive workflows are the ones nobody has time to chase.

On a busy job, the work that protects your margin is exactly the work that slips. Walter owns it — end to end, with provenance on every fact.

A missed notice window waives the claim

Most contracts void a change entirely if written notice isn't filed within days of discovering the condition. Detecting the change is worthless if the clock expires.

Answers cite the wrong revision

The same sheet name lives across the bid, permit, and IFC sets. An RFI answered off a superseded drawing isn't an assistant — it's a liability.

You pay twice for the same work

Miss a single lien waiver before releasing a sub's payment and the money is gone. Retainage — often your whole margin — sits unreleased at closeout.

The project record lives in ten systems

Procore, email, QuickBooks, P6, Bluebeam. The truth is scattered, conflicting, and nobody can trace a dollar from a drawing change to a payment.

One brain, many views

A shared Construction Brain. A personal agent for every role.

Walter ingests your drawings, contracts, emails, and schedules into one knowledge and money graph. Each person gets an agent that sees exactly what their role is allowed to — never more.

The Construction Brain

A knowledge graph + money graph that traces every dollar from a drawing revision to a change event, to a CO, to an invoice, to a payment. The brain is the asset — agents are just interfaces over it.

  • Permission-filtered at retrieval, before the model ever sees data
  • Every fact carries provenance, a trust tier, and a freshness signal
  • The clock is a first-class object — deadlines escalate before they expire

Superintendent

Daily logs, manpower, field photos — voice-first, offline-tolerant.

Project Manager

RFIs, submittals, change orders, coordination across trades.

Controller

Pay apps, retainage, lien waivers, three-way invoice matching.

Executive

Forward risk, unpaid scope, schedule impact — portfolio-wide.

Trust is earned

Walter starts as an observer and earns its way up.

No agent goes autonomous on day one. Every task climbs the same ladder, scoped to the person and the project — and some tasks never leave human hands.

  1. 01

    Observe

Walter connects to your systems and watches how you work. Read-only. It learns your patterns before it does anything.

  2. 02

    Suggest

It surfaces what you might miss — an overdue RFI, an expiring COI, a delivery slipping the critical path.

  3. 03

    Draft

It prepares the change order, the transmittal, the pay app — fully cited — and drops it in your outbox for review.

  4. 04

    Approve

You review the diff against the last approved version and approve, edit, or reject. Every edit teaches it.

  5. 05

    Graduate

Once a task earns trust per user and project, it can run on its own — except money, notices, and filings, which always gate on a human.

Built for discovery

These documents end up in litigation. Walter is built like it.

RFI responses, change orders, and daily logs are discoverable contract documents. Every design decision in Walter assumes a lawyer will read it later.

The AI never knows more than the person

Permissions live on the data and filter results before the model sees them. A sub sees only its own bids; the field can't see margin. The privacy boundary is code, not a prompt instruction.

Every claim is cited, or it stays silent

Answers pin the exact revision — sheet, issue date, content hash. Codes and standards cite the governing edition. No citation? Walter says "not in the project record" instead of guessing.

Nothing contractual without a human

Change orders, notices, pay apps, lien waivers, and regulatory filings always pass a person. Some tasks graduate to autonomous; these never do.

An immutable, traceable record

Money objects are append-only. Daily logs and incident reports are timestamped and human-signed. Every AI-drafted document records who approved it and what changed.

Questions

Straight answers.

Does Walter replace Procore or my accounting system?+

No. Walter sits on top of the systems you already run — Procore, ACC, Gmail/M365, QuickBooks/Sage, P6, Bluebeam — ingesting their data into one brain and writing structured updates back. It's the connective layer, not another silo.

Will it answer design questions for me?+

Never. Design intent and engineering judgment belong to the architect or engineer of record. Walter routes those questions and drafts the transmittal — it does not engineer.

What happens when sources disagree?+

Walter surfaces the conflict instead of silently picking. It follows a clear precedence — signed system of record over written correspondence over meeting minutes over recollection — and shows you the disagreement.

How does it handle drawing revisions?+

It only cites the current set unless you ask about history. When a revision is superseded, every downstream artifact that cited it is automatically flagged for re-validation.

Can a subcontractor or field role see things they shouldn't?+

No. Access control is enforced at retrieval, on the data itself. A subcontractor sees only their own scope; a field role never sees margin. The model is only ever shown what that person is permitted to see.
